ES 2023 Ventivendemmie Igt Salento Primitivo Gianfranco Fino
ES 2023 Igt Salento Primitivo Gianfranco Fino is a red wine from Puglia with a strong personality, an authentic expression of Primitivo grown between Manduria and Sava. The Gianfranco Fino winery interprets this grape variety with an intense and passionate style, capable of combining aromatic richness, concentration, and drinkability. The result is a modern red that is deeply connected to the territory, designed for those seeking a wine with character and a strong identity.
Territory and wine style
The Igt Salento designation tells the Mediterranean soul of an area suited for viticulture, where Primitivo finds ideal conditions to express maturity, warmth, and depth. The grapes come from the lands of Manduria and Sava, in the province of Taranto, from vineyards cultivated in the bush-trained style on red soil, with naturally low yields. Harvest takes place at the end of August and includes a slight drying of the grapes on the vine, a choice that contributes to greater concentration in the wine’s final profile. The style is rich, enveloping, and intense, with an elegant touch imparted by aging in French oak barrels.
