The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Millesime 2012 Grand Cru by Legras & Haas is a refined expression of pure Chardonnay, designed for those seeking an elegant, precise, and well-balanced Champagne. The selection from Grand Cru parcels enhances a style that is tense yet enveloping, with a bubble capable of accompanying the wine without overshadowing its aromatic finesse.
Territory and wine style
This Blanc de Blancs is born in Champagne from Chardonnay grapes and comes from a Grand Cru selection, an element that evokes a prestigious territorial profile with qualitative vocation. The cuvée presents itself as a vintage Champagne Brut, therefore more articulated and defined compared to a non-vintage style, with a character that combines freshness, breadth, and a pleasant expressive maturity. The dosage of 7 g/l keeps the sip harmonious and clear, allowing space for the purity of the fruit and the precision of the finish.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it stands out for a bright and refined profile, consistent with a varietally strong Blanc de Blancs. On the nose, lively and spicy sensations emerge, followed by hints of orange peel and white flowers, in a blend that combines elegance and complexity. On the palate, the wine shows a well-integrated freshness, never aggressive, with a straight and wide texture at the same time. The structure remains balanced, supported by an acidic backbone capable of giving momentum and continuity to the sip, while the finish is clean, harmonious, and pleasantly persistent.
